Jonathane Did the Supreme Court get it right in Jones? Some would say that if you can get nine justices to agree on anything than it must be right. But looking at the Jones decision there appears to be more that needs to be answered.

Ovechkin Suspended 3 Games for hit

Capitals Washington Capitals forward Alex Ovechkin has been suspended for three games for a charging incident in which he launched himself to hit Pittsburgh defenseman Zbynek Michalek during Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Penguins.

It is the third time in the past three seasons Ovechkin has been suspended by the league for hits the league deemed dangerous. Ovechkin has also been fined twice.

Are We Head for another Lock Out?

NHL Are we headed for another lock out? Reading the tea leaves the answer would probably be yes.

In June when the Atlanta Thrashers relocated to Winnipeg, the NHL was given the opportunity to rework the conferences. That opened a whole new can of worms with teams such as Detroit, Columbus and even Nashville wanting to move to the Eastern Conference.
